A smile design is a dental procedure that mostly uses veneers to artistically create straighter, whiter, perfectly aligned, beautiful and natural-looking teeth. It enhances appearance regardless of the actual state of your natural teeth and also restores dental health.
There are two main types of material used to fabricate a veneer: composite and dental porcelain.
A composite veneer may be directly placed (built-up in the mouth), or indirectly fabricated by a dental technician in a dental lab, and later bonded to the tooth, typically using a resin cement. They are typically used for treatment of adolescent patients who will require a more permanent design once they are fully grown.
In contrast, a porcelain veneer may only be indirectly fabricated. A full veneer crown is described as a restoration that covers all the coronal tooth surfaces.
The first stage is a consultation with your dentist at Smile N Face to understand your cosmetic goals and formulate a treatment plan to resolve the fundamental issue. The treatment process is planned in such a way that a minimum number of dentist visits are required.
If there are other oral diseases or cavities to be addressed, it is done first. All cases are different, and we create a tailored smile design that is perfect for you.
